I think that's a great idea. Does it cost anything to host the meetings? I think 2 a week would be good to start out with, and I would definitely be interested in helping chair one of those meetings a week. I think if we could maybe have an "East Coast" meeting and a "West Coast" meeting with different time slots to accommodate each time zone. What do you think?

Alyssah, do you go to any other 12 step meetings where you've seen how meetings are run? If not, please email me as I attend Al-Anon meetings regularly, and I have a sample meeting guideline that we could try and work through together to see how we would all want the meeting to be run. Of course with the idea that the format could always change.

Since you seem proactive in wanting to start meetings, would you like to join our core group of action committee volunteers?

Where do you live Alyssa? I'd be willing to chair a meeting every other Thursday night for the East Coast meeting from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

hey im in toronto so is am on EST yes it is a 12 step meeting it for anerixa and bulimia i struggle with a combanation of both thout sounds great due to me being in school thursday nights i can chair one monday nights 10-11 est time so 7-8 west coast time

Hi folks, a meeting on Monday evening between 10:00 and 11:00 PM EST would be good. I am out here on the West Coast, which works fine for me. I think that this is a great idea! It is pretty amazing what is growing out of this group that Laura set up a couple of years ago.
