My daddy and me were real close too and he just passed 5 years ago and I want to hug him too.

Sunny you can hug my daddy. He is in heaven but smiles down on me every day. He was well liked by everyone and always lovedand helped all people. I still talk to him when I want to hear what I think he would say to me.

Yeah Pauli, I know what you mean. So, when I talk to him I can really hear what he would say in my mind. It brings him back for me.

Me and Dad are in a diconnect .......we know we love each other...but just leave at at that between holiday and birth a cards, flowers n gifts.........
He n Mom divorced after thirty.five yrs married..........he's remarried a whole other family that he seems to connect with better..........we don't talk much.

I did call him just sobbing a couple months back that I didn't want to die before getting to see him again (I'm fine now.....but things got kinda bleak for a while there)...he said he'll come to see me in the Spring....we'll see......he never has when he easily could have it the past.....but I did catch myself calling him Daddy for the first time in years.....

Sorry...over-tire and medicated for sleep now.
