Let me be Me Community Group
A support group for those of us that need a safe place to share what ails us. Or what doesn't! This group is your group so you can be the person you really are, no need to pretend, no need to create some successful cyber image. Whether sharing our trials and tribulations, or our success's in life. Whether in sadness and needing comfort and support, or just...
I am so stuck as to what to say.... my ex-wife had alot of health issues from bullima, I permanently thought I was hurting her, then, I got sick n the CP and realities destroyed our sex life... our marriage... we didn't communicate.... it was all about the "bing" the knowing we were one.... not the sex.....
I so want that "bing" back with some-one but progression of my illness, scares me.. sigh..... and I will need a refresher manual or something....
So proud of and love you guys..... xoxoxox
My husband truly is my polar opposite; as open I am, he is closed. As affectionate as I want to be, if he can't have everything he wants nothing. I try desperately to remain positive, yet he is a dark cloud of negativity who can find nothing to be happy about. I guess 6 years of me living with chronic pain has affected him in many ways he no longer cares to deal with.
I'm pretty sure it won't be too much longer before he leaves......
Thank you all for the kind words, suggestions and friendship. I really am blessed to have you all......if I couldn't talk to my friends from here??? I'd have no one-literally, except family here locally.
XOXOXO!
Deb
The best way is..if you see me on here in the day..I'm probably up to talk on the phone PLEASE hit me up.
I could use it, too. I'm so in the habit of isolation..I'm losing the ability to talk instead of type.
No kidding.
Seekret..I know.
I wish there were opportunities in your life for women to know the you that I do.
If I weren't happily married..I'd be that crazy old American woman who came to the land of Oz to stalk you.
I can relate to what your saying though with talking vs. messaging. For me though I just get way to easily distracted with pain....etc., that I forget what the hell I'm talking about!!
So..when ya want..we can stumble through a conversation..
That can end as simply as " I can't talk any more right now ".
I've said that in the middle of my own sentence to S.O. here..
They GOT it...:-) :-) :-)
BTY..
I'm much " wittier" online..
Because I have an hour and a half to come up with a snappy retort..:-) :-) :-)
True story: my daughter Emily had just finished up a Celtic dance performance, youngest daughter, Sarah went off to the restroom and I was talking with Emily's dance instructor, my mother and another parent. (Speed forward 10 minutes) Just getting into the crux of the conversation when I realize my youngest daughter hadn't come back from the public restroom yet. Leaving the dance instructor mid stream in her sentence I walk off.........
(Found daughters......round up parents and leave). My mother says, 'do you know you left in the middle of Ms. Sladick praise for Emily's performance? 'You just walked off without saying a word' That I was talking to Ms. Sladick comes rushing back to me in a heat of embarrassment. I was 50 shades of red explaining to Emily's dance teacher why I left like that!!
So that being said......I do weird stuff too!!
