My wife and I have been married for 4 months now. We both work all the time! I have 2 jobs and she has 3. And Im hoping its just because we exhasted but it doesnt seem that way. Our sex life is a wreck! I just want to make love and shes always wanting just to have sex we wind up fighting and just go to sleep. So should I just give in to her or stand my ground?

Both of you take one day off from all jobs...for example maybe sunday...spend that whole day together. no matter what you do do it together...make that day special every week nothing to do woith work...i totally understand how this goes I went to college full time taking four to six classes plus worked two sometimes three jobs and tried to make a relationhsip work...the key was setting aside one day a week just to spend time with that person..no work no school. it works in the best intrest of both of you. ..

Definitely "DATE NIGHT" plan for it, look forward to it with anticitipation, leave a little love note for her to find telling her how much you enjoy it when she does _____ to you, for you. Text her a little love note letting her know what a fantastic lover she is, tell her that while quickies are wonderful, she has "spoiled" you to wanting the love making, because she is so good at it. Arguing about your sex life will only cause the both of you to shut down and pull away. Good/great sex comes from the brain, our thoughts affect the bedroom ALOT. Rather than argue, speak in positive ways, and say "I feel" or "I need" try to refrain from pointing the finger and assigning blame for the lack of what you need or want. I remember reading a post from you sometime way back talking about the difference between sex and making love, AMEN sister girl there is a big difference, but all is good. Life does get in the way, jobs, famililes, daily stresses, this is why I strongly reccommend DATE NIGHT, a special time that is just about the two of you, if you have the money go out, or just plan a romantic evening at home, take extra time to prepare, lotions, bubble baths whatever makes you feel good and desirable for each other, then that time is just for connecting talking about perphaps how you fell in love remind her of what she does that you love and respect, this time is all about the positive and happy, no discussing anything negative. Jessica compromise is key , it is okay IMHO to have sex with her when she needs it, rejection hurts all of us, and I would tell her the same thing about making love to/with you. Now please do not think I mean you have to have sex, but you can think of it as a gift to the woman you love. Compromise and finding common ground, is better than complaining and driving a wedge between the two of you. (in 20 years I have done both & compliments do so much more than complaints) Good Luck, and many, many happy years together.

definately date night!!! very important! during the week i see my wife a whole 45 min a day and part of that she is getting ready to go to her next job...i work nights so when she gets home i am either gone or on my way out...we also leave notes her on the pillow me on the bathroom mirror in lipstick or a sticky note on the computer...sometimes just a text message that says..i still think your hot! there have been times that all that has gone to the wayside and we became like you said...keeping a romance alive well apply same principles as you do with work...bottom line its the same thing if you neglect the little stuff too long you become easily replacable.

Hi Jessica, its me again, IMHO there are some things worth "standing our ground" for things like fidelity, respect, trust, honesty, and not being abused. Many other issues we can ask ourselves "do I want to be right or do I want to be happy". For me I try to choose happiness, and I do not always need to prove my point. The goal is a life long happy marriage, and I have chosen to focus on my spouse's good qualities (which are many) all of the reasons I fell in love with her in the first place. Jobs come and go, stressers change, Marriage is forever.
