pretty much everyone here knows I have been going through change from being butch to leaning pretty hard into femme. I paint my nails.
I have long hair now not the famous mullet that comes with the sterotype of lesbianism. I tried lipstick..that stuff is for the birds.. thinking on the lines of mascara..
Only really problem is i have missed all the growing up with this stuff. I walk down the girlie isles totally confused. I have no idea what most of the stuf is for. Break all this down for me... what are the differences in mascaras how the hell do you use eyeliner? how do I cover the dark circles under my eyes. and how many different types of hairbrushes does a woman really need???
This stuff is confusing I feel like a 12 year old boy in these isles.

In any event the key is to experiment for yourself!! Find your own style and look and the best way to do that is to practice (you can always wash it off)
And always remember that when it comes to makeup less is more! nothing worse then someone who is lathered in makeup, because then you never get to see their true beauty underneath all those cosmetics.

p.s. I love dresses but if you saw me on the street it would be a different story. I don't wear makeup everyday and love my jeans and t-shirts. But sometimes it's fun to be glamerous and get dolled up, even if it's only once a year
