ok.. well.. my gf and i have been together on and off for a few months now, and every time we broke up, she'd go back to her ex bf. i don't really like him cuz he treated her like shit, but now that we're together again, and engaged (she said she loved me more than him, and wanted us to be together forever), well.. he's jealous and flirting with her. the worst part is, she's flirting back and didn't hardly talk to me today. he's pissing me off, and he's doing it on purpose. any advice? has anyone been in the same situation? what should i do about my relationship with her? oh. plus, my mom won't let me see her this summer.
I would be straightforward with her and tell her that if she needs to work out her feelings for him, then she needs to take care of it before she can commit to a deep and meaningful relationship with you. It's up to her to tell him to back off, as hard as that may be for her. If she can't do it, then there may be something else going on there for her. I know that it is REALLY HARD - I am doing it now. You might lose her, but if she can't decide between two people, you don't really have her anyway and you deserve a partner that is emotionally committed to you alone.
