I just am trying to stop looking back at what was and constantly trying to come up with ways to reignite the spark...not for good of course but just to be able to still experience a night together where I get those butterflies and have that fire inside me. I want to create a night like this for Valentine's Day but am lost for ideas.
Sorry if I highjacked your post and made it about myself...I didn't mean to do that.
Perhaps you could get a honeymoon sweet somewhere and the two of you could just agree on an arrival time to meet at the room. You could each get ready for the evening seperately so there will be an element of surprise about how she is dressed and what she looks and smells like (you should both get creative that way and try a new perfume and a new outfit to suprise each other with). I think that would be alot of fun and if I could afford to do this that is what I would love to do with my GF. You meet up at the room and each of you could have an event planned for the night so you each get a surprise that way too...she picks where you will dine and you pick the movie or whatever you want to do after the meal.
If all of this is financially unfeasable than I guess the bottom line is try to incorporate the element of surprise into some of the things you do. That's one of the things that goes missing in the relationship 7 or more years in....things become routine and predictable. Shake em up a little and good luck hon.
Good luck, Sweetie!
