last week I was very upset to hear our neighbours 14 year old daughter had been telling the local youths in our village "those lesbians next door was watching me get undressed through my window when they was out in the garden". I wanted to call this police as this is a very serious accusation. but my partner said no she would tell this girls parents. my partner said the dad was angry at what his daughter had been saying but I saw her out just a hour later so she wasn't grounded and I doubt even told off. then yesterday as we was decorating our front garden with some friends children she came into our front garden without our permission I was angry but my partner told me to ignore it. but then I heard her say to some children "don't speak to them,don't trust them." I told my partner but she made nothing of it.
I have a mental illness and all this is really making it worse. this isn't the first time this girl has tried to cause trouble only 2 weeks ago she went and told my friend my partner had been telling her dad and the other neighbour about my friends daughter being grounded for smoking weed. this caused a huge row between my friend and my partner before my friend realised my partner had said no such thing.
I need advice on what to do? I live in the uk. I want to stop this vile girl saying anymore lies about us. all my partner is bothered about is not upsetting her parents by calling the police. if I say anything myself to this girl she will turn what I say and tell her parents ive threatened her or something . please help.
