I am a lesbian with several mental issues. Some which help to create negative thoughts. Anyways I've been with my gf since February and we now go to my counseling sessions together for d.b.t. lately I feel smothered. When I ask for a few minutes to myself she gets angry. In. Bed she has to be nearly on top of me every night. When I'm taking a bath she wil suddenly have to potty. She wants a kiss what seems to be every 10 minutes. I love her a lot but am I being smothered or am I just not usied to having a gf? This is what I always wanted why can't I just like it
I do know that all people are different as far as how much time they want to spend with someone, lots of physical contact (cuddling/holding hands/sitting close/etc) so maybe it's just how you are. It could have something to do with your condition(s), IDK. Maybe it's like you said, maybe you just aren't used to it.
