I know there is a lot of people who has a partner addicted to gaming in particular world of warcraft.
my partner spends hours playing it ,while I just sit in the other room on my own. after I go to bed she will still be playing it until around 4/5am.then when she does get up early afternoon it isn't long before she's on it again . when shes not on it shes watching her tv shows she recorded and she shhhss 's me if I try and chat.
it's like her world revolves round world of warcraft. she even wanted to leave a family reunion early because she said"i have people waiting for me on warcraft to do a incident' .
it has caused countless rows between us . if I do manage to persuade her to spend time with me i can tell shes itching to get back on it.
I have tried showing her web sites about how this addictions has ruined relationships and how the makers make the game addictive but to no avail.
can anyone offer me any advice how to approach her on how this is making me feel .ty

Essentially, you are modifying your behavior so that she can continue her destructive dependency upon this game.
There are several books on this subject. Unfortunately, the message is pretty much the same, you have to leave for her addiction to this game is stronger than her feelings for you.
Like addictions to drugs, the first problem is getting her to admit there is a problem. As you have had many fights over this already, you can see the difficulty in getting her to see it.
Read a book on this, but really the choice is yours, whether to move on or continue in this destructive relationship.
