From my standpoint, dating is a LOT different, actually totally different, than having a relationship.

Dating, to me, says the door is open to go out and date however many women one chooses to date. If one prefers to take out a different woman each day of the week, it's totally cool......however....I believe the person who is dating HAS to be honest with all the women they are dating by letting them know there are others. If a woman is going to be deceitful about openly dating, she is going to be deceitful about so much more.

Back in my young days (forever ago lol) I dated 4 or 5 women at the same time. They ALL knew I was openly dating, they ALL knew I was not going to get between the sheets with any of them and they ALL knew that it was JUST dating. One of them had a real issue with it and I told her I had been honest from the get go and if she couldn't handle it, I understood....and I stopped dating her.

At that time, there was a woman I truly had feelings for, and I also told these gals that as well. Told them that if this particular woman came to me and was finally ready for a relationship, the dating would end. That didn't go over real well with a few of them, but again, I was completely up front about my intentions on what *dating* was.

Obviously, once two people are *going steady* (yeah old school talk LOL) or in a relationship, the dating thing should stop.

thanks to all i ended it she was never honest from the getgo and i knew that i was just very sexually attracted and that kinda fogged my brain for a bit but its back. thanks again all

Hey Ali....just wanted to say there is nothing wrong with how you feel. We are all different. Some people jump into something serious, while others prefer to take it slow. No right or wrong answers. It's all about meeting someone who feels the way you do about seeing eachother exclusively. Personally, once I meet a woman where there is a strong undeniable connection, and it is mutual, I prefer dating exclusively as well. I have never been one for dating multiple women at the same time. But, we are all different. We all have our own preferences. There are plenty of women out there who feel the way you do about dating one person at a time. So keep your chin up, and be okay with knowing what it is you are wanting. Cheers! :)

Count me in as an old schooler! For me its hard to get to know someone unless I am focused on that person....Stick to what is right for you, I am sure there are many out there that do not feel the need to date multiple women at one time....

Hmm ok Ali, here's my little comment on this from experience of being a player. She is playing you! She is addicted to the initial rush of a new relationship and keeping all her options open. Somewhere along the line in the next few months she will either opt for you or one of her other GFs, but no matter who she chooses someone else will come along and she will want them instead. Classic love addict or player at work there sorry honey.
