Klinefelter's syndrome is a condition caused by a chromosome nondisjunction in males; affected individuals have a pair of X sex chromosomes instead of just one, and is associated with additional risk for some medical conditions. XXY males are almost always sterile, and some degree of language impairment may be present.
Hi.
I'm 27. I have 1 small testicle and 1 normal sized testicle. I went to the doctor about this a few years ago. He inspected me, said it was normal and sent me on my way. Still convinced it was not normal I've just recently started doing research online and started reading about Klinefelter's syndrome. I found that I have almost all the symptoms, to a lesser or greater degree; large hips, tall stature, long arms and legs, not particularly muscly, lethargy etc etc. I've also learned that you can be XXY mosaic which means some of your cells are normal XY, and some are XXY. I could be wrong but it doesn't seem like an awful lot is known about the mosaic form. Could this be what I have as I have 1 normal testicle and 1 small, and I do have excess breast tissue but not lots. Although I am concerned about all the possible health issues and the fact that I might not be able to have kids(!), the main thing I want to know is; is there anything that can be done about my small testicle? As this has been a major confidence issue for me all my life.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I do not have some of the characteristics, that did not stop me from researching KS. Each male born with KS, does not always have what is considered the characteristics associated with KS. I have no medical insurance to get treatment. So, if I can read that at least someone can get help, it makes my day.
Getting a second opinion would be the best route to go, if you can.
