where to begin? It started in early June with right flank pain and ache in lower back with cloudy urine. did dip stick and urine culture . was put on antibiotics on suspect of uti. dip stick showed large leukocytes and trace blood. nothing else culture came back negative for bacteria. finished antibiotics and I felt a little better but still had cloudy urine. waited a week for antibiotics to get out of system and went to see doctor #2 (never get the same doctor twice). repeated test with same results. she said wasn't off antibiotics long enough wait a few more days and come back in. she sugested to repeat culture and do CT scan of kidneys. I wondered if this would do any good since I am allergic to contrast dye and told that ct scans and mri are useless unless you use contrast dye. so more time goes by and I come back. I see #3 doctor. she repeats dip stick and urine culture. same results. puts me back on antibiotics for 7 days.  And she wants me to have a gynicological exam. The 7 days are over now and it has been an aditional 7 days without antibiotics. I still have the same symptoms. But now all this antibiotics has stirred up my ibs and gastritis which I haven't had for quite some time. My anxiety is starting to run high because I worry about what it could be and nothinng is getting done. I don't know if it is going to be worth going back in and seeing another doctor. It takes weeks to get in to see one and then nothing much is done no tests ordered no referal to a possible urologist. nothing.. Anyone have suggestions or experience like this. How can one have white blood cells and blood in their urine and not grow any bacteria and still have these symptoms?
