lots of water and lots of cranberry juice....stones can be very small and easy to miss even though they feel like a boulder coming out.

So far it hasn't been painful to go to the bathroom. I've just have had lower back pains that have been severe at times. Then there's times i have no pain.

I have chronic Kidney Stones, I pass several every couple of months and have had surgery to remove large ones that get stuck. The lower back pains are your Kidneys and once the stone begins its trek out pain tends to follow.

There are certain foods, drinks, herbs, etc. that cause kidney stones depending on what type of Stones you have. They are either Calcium Oxilate Stones, Calcium Phosphate Stones, Uric Acid Stones, etc. There are special diets that tell you what not to eat for the types of stones that you have, otherwise your kidneys will keep creating stones. You can find these food lists on the Internet in a zillion different places.

Thank you. From what I was told in the emergency room it isn't the normal calcium stones so they aren't sure what they are working with. They gave me flomax to open the tubes to help pass it but I had a reaction to the medicine so now I'm not on anything like that. I just have this tightness in my lower back and sometimes I will get a sharp pain. I've been drinking lots of water but nothing yet. Am waiting for my insurance to approve ct scan with contrast so they can figure out more information.
