How does this happen? Things are going pretty good and then life comes up with these little ways to remind me how much of a crappy person i really am...
I just found out that my best friends husband cheated on her (lying about it at first and then i guess the truth came out later). She knew something had happened but he didn't give the impression that it was more than just falling asleep next to another woman while watching a movie. and she was so cool with it, knowing (or thinking) that she could trust him. She is such a wonderful person and wife and mother and I can't believe this has happened to HER of all people.
I mean, I am the jealous whiny one who for some ridiculous reason has been jealous of her and my husband this whole time, knowing perfectly well that neither of these awesome people would ever do anything together to hurt me, and yet she gets hurt by the one she loves. She has no problem with her husband being innocently flirtatious as i do with mine and had all the trust in the world for him and now he went and did it. I feel like if it should have happened to anyone it should have been me. I have been so unfair to my husband, and her, when they are getting along really well. And really really unfair to my husband this whole time and in the past for being attracted to other people, a perfectly natural reaction to have. And i do truly know in my heart that he would NEVER cheat on me. He is just that great of a guy yet I get sooo suspicious and it's so wrong of me.
And now here I am, again, being so selfish all I can think about is how messed up i am and not doing anything for her. but i think i will go pick her up and take her out to lunch or something so she can gt away from her house for awhile...

I watched my brother cheat on his girl when i was a teen and i think thats what ive made my basis on about what men are like.
isabella, you're right i am so lucky! it seemed like our husbands were so similar, but i know for sure now that i have the most amazing husband i could ask for!
miss green, it's true, i want to become more supportive and less jealous because of this whole thing. now i need to try harder than ever...
lk, i am definitely learning from my friend's strength in this. she is so amazing to not be flying off the handle, which i feel i would most likely be doing. i kind of think she is in shock right now and i really want to be there for her when she really needs me when it hits her.
