Should I worry

My bf has proven me right many times to where I have no trust. He is very jealous so everytime he suspects I am in the wrong, talking to other men, he starts talking to other women to pay me back. He doesn't actually cheat. We have been getting along for a while now but he went to MVD on Monday. Everyday he has been calling the MVD clerk on her personal phone to check the status of his license. Now why would she give him her personal number and not the business line. Should I be jealous? Ugh, I hate living like this.

I would question myself as to why I have such deep emotional dependencies upon someone who is so insecure himself.

That's definitely suspicious, altho I too have jealousy/trust issues. But prolly about 90% of the time when some1 has a lot of jealousy when u've given them no reason not 2 trust u is becuz they're worried ur doing the same thing they are (cheating, lying, etc). That's how it was with my ex. He cheated on me sooooooo much (I found out after I finally broke up with him) but he was constantly accusing ME of cheating when I never, ever had or even given him a reason to think I was.

I suffer from bouts of jealousy myself, at times for reasons more trivial than yours, so I feel it's not my place to judge you whether your feelings of jealousy towards your boyfriend is justified.

But I am going to offer what I know, that it isn't very healthy when a partner decides to make a partner jealous deliberately, much less as a form of 'payback'. It could create a vicious circle of mistrust if left alone.

Now you said that he started talking to other women everytime he -suspected- you were in the wrong, so have you guys ever made time to sit down and communicate such suspicions?

I do think that open, honest, and calm communication could be very important in your case.
