there is a self esteem loving ourselves and a no confidence and no self esteem that i found. If you click on my profile or other pples you can see on the right hand side the support groups they belong too and under that, groups pple have founded. Ive got 10, but to be honest some of them dont have much going on in them, i dont know why that is.
How's the new years resolution going? Any tips to share? I can honestly say I hate myself most of the time...would love to feel different :)
Crossing theBorder, thank you for taking up the challenge with me! I too have always had a tendency to attack myself mentally. But I have hope that it can get better for both of us. I have been trying harder thank i ever have before and it is definitely harder to do something about it than to not!

I argued with my BF last night, which stinks since we're leaving for Cuba on Sunday and I don't even feel like going. We aregued about his ex, and than it turned into him saying that I have a problem with his daughter because I have a problem with his mother. How can he say that?? For the last 2 years his daughter has lived half of the time with us, and I love her like my own daughter (mine is 9 today, his is 7). Sometimes I even treat his daughter better!! He tried to come back and say he didn't mean it like that but it turned into me hosting and enjoying my own pity party. He obviously doesn't think I'm a very good person, and I'm beginning to agree. I hate how I feel about myself, and I hate how I think he feels about me. I don't know what to do anymore. I wish that I was so confident that it didn't matter what others said, I would know in my heart that they are wrong. I just don't understand why he is even with me, or what the point is in continuing the relationship. It just stinks.
Sorry..another rough day for me :(
and lk, I'm sorry you are having a bad day. i am not looking forward to my next one, but i am definitely not going to lie to myself, i know it's coming lol. I often wonder as well why my husband continues to be with me after what i have put him through but....our guys ARE still with us. i think they would have already given up on us, don't you?
it seems like you are a wonderful mother (to both daughters) and you have to give yourself credit for that! being a parent is the hardest thing ever, for reals, so give yourself a pat on the back please. and go back to what you said about hating how you feel about yourself and hating how you THINK he feels about you which is just that: we can't ever know what people are really thinking about us. But in our case i think it's safe to say that we are harder on ourselves than anyone else, so why don't we give ourselves a break?
hopefully this helps. i don't even really know you and i can FEEL that you're worth it all so please think about that :)
