So we are possibly going to disneyland later this summer for my sons second birthday! My husband got the whole week off and we'd probably take a road trip down there. I've wanted to go on one for such a long time. My mother in law and sister in law will be going too and i just love them :) I'm a little bummed because I won't really be able to go on any rides because.....I found out I'm pregnant!! YAY!!! I know, kind of a weird way to tell you all but..we're really excited!
It may be a little ridiculous to take a two year old to disneyland since he won't be able to go on any of the bigger rides, but the adults can, and there's gotta be some stuff for toddlers right? I just really hope I'm not too miserable in the hot weather or upset that i won't be able to do anything and definitely don't want to end up being a raging beeotch while we're on trip (or at all really) LOL
Anyway, I told one of my besties all this and well, she kind of invited herself, in a way. Our kids were born about a day apart and we've bonded over all of this of course and are really great friends. But for some reason i just feel selfish and thought it was a little intrusive to just say "oh cool, maybe we can go". To a normal person it would probably be great to have your best friends there with you right? But I just already feel like I would not enjoy myself as much. It's so childish of me, i know. It's really for the kids and everyone to have fun, not for me.
But I don't think her husband will be able to go and since I've had issues with jealousy between her and my husband in the past I can forsee some discomfort with the situation. Thinking about it later it would probably end up with me stuck at the motel room while they went out together with the kids so they could actually do something and enjoy themselves, which they would have every right to.
I dunno, I'm just being paranoid i think. Anyways now that I do have the wonderful news that I'm pregnant, it might change our plans completely, so really i'm just obsessing and worrying about some thing that might not even be happening...kind of psycho :/
