Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Support Group
Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.

So I ate almost a whole can of peanuts last night and then ate honey nut cherios this morning for breakfast. I was in the worst situation this morning. It was aweful. Is it really from all those nuts? I hate how careful I have to be about what I eat. I couldn't leave the house for several hours because I couldn't get anything under control and settle my stomach. I hate this!

Thanks, it has been a better day, I just need to be really strict with what I eat. It's so hard sometimes.

It's better to eat smaller meals throughout the day. Hopefully that will help manage the discomfort a little better :(

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
