Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Support Group
Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.
I take a nutritional shake that makes a world of difference for me. I like you have done the fibre and drank a bazillion shakes, natural things, special diets...blaw blaw blaw...nothing helped. The shake I take now is taste good so I stick to it and helps my friend who has crohns as well.
I drink my shake each day and it helps. When I miss my shakes I know about it.
I also have to take pantoloc some times and another pill that relaxes my bowel. I am given a muscle relaxer for my back to stop my back spasms from triggering an IBS attack.
I agree though, IBS sucks! Big time.
I agree actually.......I have seen many different people and spent an absolute fortune on supplements and tests and for what. I am still in the same boat.
You can search for info about bentyl on line. Or ask your doctor if you could try it. I know it is hard to get a doctor that really cares about you as a person and your pain.
