Hi! I'm not new to DS and have had IBS for 6 years. Was alternating between IBS C and D, and learned some foods that triggered it. Cut out beef (causes bloating and constipation), mexican food (causes diarrea and severe cramps), and onions (causes bad gas and bloating). Over the last year the type D slowly dissipated, and became mostly type C. When I discovered over the last few months that beef contributed, I switched to turkey. I thought I was pretty much in control of it because I was almost symptom free. But over the last week or 2, the type C has returned. I don't know if it's because i've been highly stressed out lately or something else. But the symptoms are totally pissing me off and making me even more stressed out. Any opinions or suggestions?? What can I do or eat to be able to go better when this happens or when I'm stressed out?
