Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Support Group
Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.

I think I can help!
I have suffered from anal fissures in the past, and while I don't have a magic answer, I do have some things that help :)
1. Sitting on a sitz bath with warm water and episome salts. This helps to keep the fissure clean and helps them heal faster.
If you can't sit on the toilet for long enough to soak them, you can also fill a bath with warm water and episome salts and sit there for a while.
2. Desitin and vaseline. Stick a little on your finger and stick your finger up your bum. Make sure to coat the area of the fissure. Make the first layer desitin, and the second vaseline.
I know - it sounds super gross. Totally agree. But it keeps the wounds safe from feces and lubes you up for your next anal-ripping poop.
The best advice is to clean it first with the sitz bath, then dry and then put on the cream(s).
3. Ice diaper. Add some water to several diapers (on the absorbent pad) and put them in the freezer. When you're in the worst pain and bleeding the most, drop one of these between your underpants and your bottom.
It will help reduce any swelling, absorb the blood in the interim and cause you a lot less pain.
4. Witch Hazel. I honestly can't tell if this is hokum, or actually worked, but it definitely made the pain lessen and any itching from healing less uncomfortable.
It also only really helps if your fissures are near the entrance.
But soak a cotton pad with some witch hazel and apply it to your anus.
Good luck!! It's awful that you're suffering so much :(
