About Me

Yes, despite my age that is a recent picture. I barely age in appearance. I'm a person who is happy to help others in any way possible. I'm very social and don't get upset about things. I don't gossip or lie about how I feel, but instead I stay honest about my feelings (If you ask me if I'm okay and I say yes, I mean it). I never get depressed, though in my teens that was not the case, I stay positive in all situations. I don't force anything on anyone, including my beliefs as a Christian. I also do not insult people at all. I only want to help people, make friends, and be kind. Feel free to talk to me about anything, be it serious, joking around, casual, whatever. I don't leave the house often for reasons, so I am always welcoming messages, regardless of how often or how long they may be. I am single, but not really looking for a relationship right now. Mainly due to my health, which needs to be improved before I could actually start working again. I'll explain below. I used to date, though. Most of my best friends are women, actually. I believe firmly that a man can have female friends without anything else going on. I just get along with women more than I do with men, usually. I can't leave the house for many reasons, and as such I have no friends in person besides a neighbor who comes over. So I have many friends online, as well as many I speak to on the phone but due to some nerve issues, my speech is sometimes messed up (stuttering, slurring, forgetting words due to Aphasia, etc. so I prefer to use typing instead so I don't annoy anyone with my speech problems). Since I remain in the house every day except for once a month for doctors or tests on my body, I am very happy to make friends and talk about anything. In the paragraph below I will mention some health issues of mine to provide an explanation as to why I can't do certain things. I'm 30 years old, and lost most of my health starting at age 18. My dad, who passed away in 2004 (whom I called daddy), passed many hereditary illnesses onto me. These include severe dental problems which have an unknown cause. Walking problems (10 minutes a day is the most I can do), and more. I am legally blind and disabled. My health also includes severe pain which I'm medicated for through serious painkillers like Fentanyl. I also experience short term memory loss, seizures, loss of most of my right arm's use, lack of appetite (which has led me to become very underweight), very sensitive hearing, insomnia (which has improved recently), and more. Despite this and many other things, I remain positive, do not complain, don't get depressed over anything, and never consider something like ending my life. Due to my health and the tiny amount of money that disability provides, I have to remain living with my parents. This is alright, since I am able to help them when I can, and they can help me in ways where I cannot help myself. For example, I can't stand or walk for more than 10 minutes every 24 hours or my spinal cord injuries will inflame, be pinched by the vertebrae, which then leads to me being paralyzed from the navel down for 30 minutes to several days depending on how bad it was. Since I am very light due to my inability to eat well, I can just sit down on the ground. I mention this because my parents cannot get to the ground easily at all, so I can at least help them by doing so. However, I can't lean over or else I might trigger my back injuries. I'm also unable to use my right arm for many things other than typing, drawing, holding a cup, and such. This is due to a serious accident I had where I nearly hit my head when riding a bike back when I still could. I was thrown from my bike at 35mph down a steep hill when the front tire just locked up. My mind slowed time down, and I saw I was heading for an impact on the road which would have me land on my head, so I shifted my head to the left and took the full impact with my right side. I have very strong bones, but this still managed to dislocate my shoulder, fracture everything in my arm, break my collarbone in two spots, tear muscles, ligaments, and tendons, as well as cause nerve damage. As I had no insurance or money, I was not able to seek medical help and just called a neighbor to pick me up. I recovered over months at home and put my arm back into the shoulder socket myself. So I have made most of my actions left handed now, other than minor things like writing. Since it was violently pulled out of the socket, it can sometimes come back out if I use it for even just a little bit of weight. I've changed my dominant arm to my left side. This is possible, which I learned from my dad, who was left handed as a child but became ambidextrous when his father cruelly tied his left arm behind his back for a long time to force him to become right handed (he thought left handed people were stupid, which was ignorant of him).
