I had something done, I'm not sure it was what you had. I didn't have side effects but the Nerve Block didn't hold. Would you let me know if your Nerve Block holds. I may give it another try....

What are your side effects? and I am not to sure if I had TAP nerve blocks, I have had nerve blocks, both on the outside and the inside. Please let me know what the TAP is and what you are going through as far as side effects, I have some with both the types I get.....Usually a lot of pressure with the ones on the outside, the ones on the inside they numb and stop the spasms, but I usually bleed a little, now the last one I had I bled a lot and had a ton of cramping and pressure when it wore off.....

Hi Ladies - thanks for replying. These nerve blocks go into the transversus abdominis plane which blocks off an entire region. They also put steroids in with the other stuff to make it last longer. I had two nerve blocks done before but they weren't like this. These two were guided by ultrasound and I was put to sleep for them. They lasted longer than the other ones, but only for THREE DAYS. The side effects were very intense and the worst were ridiculous cramping and nausea. This nausea was not regular. They gave me every antimedic possible and they couldn't tame it. I cried because of how bad the nausea was, and I never threw-up which I swear made it worse. It was the kind of nausea where your jaw hurts and your whole body is nauseated. Horrible. When it wore off and still, my pain is much worse than it was before. The needles were about the length of a small water bottle and I am having a lot of pain where they went. Kendra - did you have any cramping before it kicked in and during or just after?

Yes, I had cramping when he did the ones on the outside before and after.....the ones on the inside just after.....It saddens me that in order for us to even get a little bit of relief we have to go through these almost torturous treatments.....

That solves the question's I had about this procedure. I think I'll pass. It sounds horrible!!

Wow you have tried everything! Is the uracyst still helping you? I have heard that it is really working to build the GaG layer back up. could you call or write me where you go to get your uracyst treatments. I might come to canada to buy the product in a pharmacy because i heard you don't need perscription. I would really appreciate any help you could give me as I am desperate to try this product it is not supposed to come to us unitll 2012.
