Interstitial Cystitis (IC) Support Group
Interstitial Cystitis (IC) is a urinary bladder disease of unknown cause characterised by pelvic and intense bladder pain, urinary frequency (as often as every 10 minutes), and pain with urination. It is not unusual for patients to experience nocturia and pain with sexual intercourse. IC is also known as painful bladder syndrome (PBS), particularly outside of the USA.
I always use a pillow between my knees when I can't sleep because I used to have back pain. My roommate use to just becasue she hates her legs to touch.
Regular body pillows always worked for me. I got one at Target for $20 and they're reasonable at Walmart or Ross and similar stores.
Softness has become something I crave! Can't have enough pillows :) I also look for the softest sheets - and blankets that aren't friction...but soft ;) This is a good tip - thank you.
Thanks for sharing! I've been sleeping with a pillow between my legs for a long time and like you, I also noticed a difference. My PT recommended it. I'm not sure how but it feels more comfortable to sleep. I'm sorry to hear that you may have Fibromyalgia also. I'm glad that your pillow helps you and I hope you start to feel better soon. :)
