Interstitial Cystitis (IC) Support Group
Interstitial Cystitis (IC) is a urinary bladder disease of unknown cause characterised by pelvic and intense bladder pain, urinary frequency (as often as every 10 minutes), and pain with urination. It is not unusual for patients to experience nocturia and pain with sexual intercourse. IC is also known as painful bladder syndrome (PBS), particularly outside of the USA.
I haven't had much trouble with any vegs.
I do avoid onions and cabbage.I have eaten
all these thing without prelief.
What have you had trouble with as far as
vegs go?
I can tolerate plums as well as pears and mangoes I don't need to take them with prelief.as for my veggies I can eat green peas and carrots
I found I can eat bananas, apples, pears, pealed and roasted eggplant with spinach, assorted pastas, natural peanut butter. They say chick peas are out but they don't bother me. And it's good protein.
Vegetable? Forget about anything with onions and garlic and pretty much all spices except salt. Mushrooms, lettuce, collard greens, carrots...I try to jazz things up with sesame seeds and sesame oil. I think bell peppers are okay. Peas, corn, greem beans, they won't hurt you.

Veggies don't bother me. So far, I can eat cooked onions and garlic without a problem. I eat all veggies plain and without prelief.
In the past, I had a problem with store bought hummus. Now I make my own and have no problems eating chick peas. It must have been the chemicals additives to the store bought hummus that bothered me.
Oh how I miss coffee, tomatoes, pasta, pizza, lasagna, chocolate, orange juice, ice tea and oranges.
