Interstitial Cystitis (IC) is a urinary bladder disease of unknown cause characterised by pelvic and intense bladder pain, urinary frequency (as often as every 10 minutes), and pain with urination. It is not unusual for patients to experience nocturia and pain with sexual intercourse. IC is also known as painful bladder syndrome (PBS), particularly outside of the USA.
for many years I was taking a bloodpresure pill that included a diuretic to lower the water in my system and so help to lower my bloodpressure
recently I cut the diuretic and my IC is much reduced

now I can almost sleep thru the night instead of having to get up 3 times a night

There is something in daily vitamins that causes me pain--and I have no idea what doing without daily vitamins and following a strict IC diet will do to me over the long run.
