Interstitial Cystitis (IC) Support Group
Interstitial Cystitis (IC) is a urinary bladder disease of unknown cause characterised by pelvic and intense bladder pain, urinary frequency (as often as every 10 minutes), and pain with urination. It is not unusual for patients to experience nocturia and pain with sexual intercourse. IC is also known as painful bladder syndrome (PBS), particularly outside of the USA.
Also, I've said it in other posts but consider buying an organic brand like Red Mill, which you can find at Whole Foods or online. Red Mill is purer and safer to ingest than other brands.
2 tsp baking soda mixed with 8oz of water warm or cold. hold your nose and drink it down. it works with in ten minutes. It is very salty. first time in 20 minutes i was flare free after being in agony for over a week. will mention this you need to be home to do this as it does tend to work like a laxative. I asked my dr. and he said it was totally safe. he gave me a script for sodium bicarbonate tablets. When i feel it starting, I take one and it works totally well. I have had to restart going for infusion 1 time a week till it all calms down.
Does anyone know what foods or drink one should follow after this experiment?
Just had my probiotic/prebiotic at 6 AM early, today.
