I need advice soon, so I am posting this here too. Here goes, my BF and I aren't exactly different faiths, we're Catholic and European Orthodox Christian. My family is fourth generation German, his is 3rd Macedonian. But I know I'll get good advice here anyway so here goes.
My BF and I have been dating for a year this march. I have not met his parents. On new years, I met a couple of his friends. He has told me a lot about them and they seem very nice and similar to my family. But I have never met them. Several months ago I decided to invite him to a couple family events and he met most of my family. I also tried to break up with him several months ago and one of the reasons was this. He claims I am the love of his life and that I will meet them 'soon' but it never happens. BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT, we are only 23 and 24 and he lives with his parents while going to college and doing freelance auto and computer services successfully. Perhaps his parents are worried about him having a girlfriend until he has a career?
I feel even worse asking him to, like I have to force him to do something he should want to do already. Don't know what to do...

I guess the next step would be to figure out why you haven't met them yet? Is it because of the religious differences, age, school etc.
I don't think you should feel bad asking him about it.
