As with me I'm so exhausted at night I fall asleep no problem but staying asleep is impossible. My brain is actively worrying about something and I have obsessive thoughts that keep me awake. Again exhaustion usually wins out so sometimes I will sleep a whole night after several days of bad sleep. Sounds like you exhausted yourself enough that you slept really hard. Can't say I've slept through a really loud alarm but it's possible if you are sleep deprived enough.
I agree with LivinOn....depression, anxiety, and maybe some other things going on with you. Welcome to the club. I keep trying different things; if I find something that works I will let you know.
