Other than prescriptions, Google "sleep hygiene" for suggestions, and then there are folk remedies:
1. Benadryl + a shot of liquor
2. 2500 mg of Magnesium malate (also called magnesium with malic acid.)
3. Valerian tea
4. Chamomile tea
5. Hot milk
6. Hot shower before bed
7. Melatonin
8. Meditation
9. Progressive muscle relaxation
10. Deep breathing. breathe in to the count of 8 and exhale to the count of 10.
I hope your issue resolves. If stress is involved, keep a pad of paper and pen on your nightstand and write down anything that is a task you must remember, or a worry keeping you up. Let it go until the morning when you pick up that list and address what is on it.
