Fist, thanks for the detailed report. Key to me is this statement: "My insomnia is due to deep mental issues." That, then, should also be the key to your way out.
Very important to recognize that insomnia is invariably only a symptom. Trying to force sleep with drugs, alcohol, marijuana, or any artificial substance for that matter only treats the symptom. By only dealing with the symptom, you are not addressing the underlying root of the problem, which, as you have stated, is psychological.

Good luck.
I can relate to your misery. Sometimes i wonder how i survive each day. I agree with you regarding pharmas. i wont take anything. I also wouldnt touch cannabis. Apart from the dreadful smell it aggravates mental health problems. I am prone to depression and i believe it can cause paronoia. Anyway thats just my opinion.
I slept last night for the first time in 5 days, its hell on earth. I have also lost jobs because of this. I am somehow managing to hold on to 2 part time jobs, I do hope you find some answers. I believe we are all different so one thing doesnt necessarily suit us all. take care x
I'm desparate and would like to try the cannibus route, but I don't live in Cali, and I can't do it because my job can surprise drug test me at anytime. I'm going to keep trying as you have and hopefully I stumble on something that works.
I hope you find your peace.
