There' was a neurophysiologist lived in 19 centuries, he said a genius thing which kind of saved my life or at least helped me to make a positive change in it. And another crucial moment is that you should keep doing it at least throughout two weeks for a fair assessment of the method.
In addition, you might want to try hypnotherapy sessions. I tried it and in addition to exercises, it used to completely knock me out. You can try it out here https://sleephypnopill.com/.
Wish you all the best of luck!
Regarding sleep paralysis, it is something that every one of us goes through every night during REM sleep. It's normal and nothing to be worried about. The content of your dreams is another matter. Good luck.
