If you are awakened in the night there are a number of ways to help yourself fall back asleep. Calming your mind and relaxing your body will help you fall back asleep. While you can't really force sleep, you can choose to relax and get drowsy. From drowsy sleep will happen on its own. Relaxation techniques are a good thing to learn if you're not doing them now.
