I'm starting to think that you're addicted to seroquel. I know that my doctor told me seroquel is not addicting (although I only experimented with it), someone on here said it is. I did a little research and found that it is addicting.
Addicting means, without the drug, you cannot sleep.
The fact that you sleep with the drug and do not without the drug, sounds like you are addicted.
I think it's time to get professional help.
It could be dangerous to try and stop it on your own.
I still remember when they told me I had to taper off of benzo or I could die but I stopped cold turkey anyway since I wasn't on it very long but the effects and withdrawal were absolutely horendous. It was the only and also worse drug addiction I ever overcame.
