Been an insomniac for the longest. I take seroquel but it's no longer working. I was told not to take anything and eventually I will fall asleep. GREAT ADVICE!!!!! Too bad I'm still not sleeping.

I feel the same way I take Benadryl at times and meletonin but meletonin bothers my stomach after 3 weeks I get diarrhea smh so I wanna try and go days without meds to see if I sleep again but I need the strength to take care of my sons :(

It's hard when you have children. I used to lay awake at night and hear my son and daughter breathing and snoring. Sometimes I would get jealous because I would think "boy that sounds so good, wish I could sleep like that." But then it would be time for them to get up and I'd have to get over it and get on with my day. Sometimes I would think maybe if I push myself really hard, by night time, I'll be sleepy. It never worked, but, I always had hope.

I have used doylamine succinate for insomnia. It's OTC and does what I need it to do.

I'm taking ambien but it's working less and less...and yes people say we will eventually fall asleep...BUT I DON'T. I have gone four days and never fell asleep, then resorted to ambien because I couldn't stand it anymore. I have no idea how to get rid of this problem and I don't see really anyone who has real answers.
