You are so right about no one being able to help you. That's because at the most basic level only you can help yourself. When you are determined to help yourself, you will find much support and help from others to help yourself. This support group is evidence of that.
I would encourage you to look into job and career building ideas. There's a ton of info on that. Start with your local library. They probably have a whole row or two of good books just on that. Maybe pick out one book you like, and put that plan to work.
I speak from experience on that, because at one point in my life when I was not satisfied with my career, that's exactly what I did. I followed that book's plan to a tee. And guess what. For me, it worked out pretty well. It can for you too.
For now, even if you're unemployed, you can make finding employment your full time job. I am confident you will be successful if you are determined and persistent.

Although I do not know much about your background, perhaps attending a local community college can help spark some interests regarding possible career paths. Usually counselors are eager and willing to work with people to create a personalized road to success.
