I think she's looking for some acknowledgement from you that you see that she's trying to turn it around. If her behavior has changed, how do you know that it's not because SHE has changed?
A little positive reinforcement couldn't hurt. Otherwise, she might just say F-It and give up.

Even though it is extremely hard for me, and sometimes I find myself thinking or even saying things like your talking about when she says she has "changed so much", I think or say "your right your not living a nasty secret life" or something like that and think how can I thank her for that. One thing maybe you can do, IF you believe she is not doing anything like that now (and you may never 100% truly trust or believe again but if your realist side is pretty sure) just tell yourself that you are thankful your not living a lie anymore and that maybe you can from that come up with some sort of positive reinforcement, even if just a little.
