Data received could be data from a website visited, or a ringtone or game download. It can also be pictures or videos sent and received by his phone. That's what my W was doing; sending nude photos and videos!

You need to look at three things on the phone details. The calls incoming and outgoing. The messages to and from. And the data received and sent.

By the way, the historical bill detail will show you where he was when he made a the call, so you can track where he was at that moment in time. Thats also how I caught my W going to the OM's town for an hour or two in the middle of the day.

we too have verizon and at least on my plan, data is NOT texting. We have unlimited texting but no internet plan on our phones so unless my daughter downloads a new ringtone, we will have no data. My bill shows to and from calls, to and from texts and data being zero.

We have verizon, as well. I have been obsessively reading our bills for months now and data and texts are two different things on ours. We have internet on our phones so there is always data on our bill. i just realized that for months before I found out about his email skank that we were paying extra every month because he was buying daypass for intenet befor i bought him his blackberry. Now I am pissed all over again knowing that while i was scrimping and saving to afford the expenses of a newborn, he was racking up cell charges for her.

I talked with H last night and looked at his phone again there was "data recieved and transmitted data. I asked H and he told me he does not text, said he would like to get it but now is just no the right time yet.
I think H is really bothered by the fact that I occassionally check up on things and bring it to his attention. H swears he is not texting ,I want to believe him but I tried to believe him a year ago too:(

What would happen if you just sent a text message to the phone? Verizon phones have an e-mail address that is phonenumber@vtext.com

send e-mail to the address and it is deliver as a txt message to the phone.

if the phone isn't capable of receiving, you might get a bounced e-mail

he can recieve textes I sent one. But it asked if I 2wanted to accept the text ?

If you have his phone in your hands, ( to look for data and texts). Why not just send a text from his phone? you will then know if he can text.
