He has to stop pure and simple. Promises won't do it. If you still have doubts, install a keylogger in his pc and find out for sure.
Good luck.
Oh, wait I know, the part he doesn't REALLY want to do.
Either he is in or out.

I agree, he can't have both. It's either the marriage or the inappropriate correspondance.
Hugs to you, stay strong!
I know there is no room in my marriage for these "others", even if they are thousands of miles away physically. The emotional contact is still right here in my face. You know how it can be.......hoping the lightbulb of "oh I guess I'd better stop if I value my wife" will light up. I guess for me it's a matter of "this is the last time period of giving this marriage a chance to turn around"., hating to give up on 30 years and call it a day. So that's why I'm still in it. I know I can't stay in it like this without the h's total committment.
Although not admirable, I'm not "there" just yet...but close. Sorry to "kick the can" and vent when you all have wise advice for me. I appreciate your comments which I do take to heart, as well as your "being there" when I can't speak to anyone about this as they just don't understand how hard this is to deal with. I don't post often as I do know what the "smart for me" answers are. I just have to be sure of my decision to give up on hope and throw all of it away, as damaged as "it all" is. Your patience is much apreciated.
