good friend and i road tripped out of state yesterday to catch a concert, back in town....4th day away from my wife...plan was to crash at my sisters so we had 4 days/4 nights off from one another....
2 days into break i really wanted to have her hold me.
today, i do miss her, but i don't have that same feeling as i did 2 days ago.
i feel calmer...surer....like a finally had a chance to catch a breath and relax.
but, now I'm reconsidering crashing at my sisters, and just heading home tonight for a nice evening w wife and kids......
the whole SC shooting just makes me think....life is too f***ing short to not let the people you love know that you love them.
i think i'll go home tonight.
