I agree with everyone else, leave the account up. I changed my H's profile picture to a pic of us at the beach and then one of us at Disneyland. I always make sure his profile picture if a happy one of him with his wife and sometimes the kids (she thinks he's only staying with me for the kids). I made it so my info could be viewed on my profile, added my education (after dday my H told her that if I contacted her she shouldn't argue with me because I'm smarter and it's impossible to win an argument with me. I thought I'd rub it in lol) and under about me put how happy I was in my marriage. Hopefully she has looked at it and stewed. If you think she's looking use it to your advantage :D

@Confusion: I really don't think she's smart enough to figure it out that you've been view her profile.

When FB was just starting out and it was ALL the craze--everyone was doing it... All my girlfriends were talking about how totally cool it was---it was right after Dday. So----FB scared the Jesus out of me. I've sense gotten over that fear--it probably took a year or so. Now the H and me share a FB page. That way were both accountable. I don't mind cause I have absolutely NOTHING to hide and as far as I know---he doesn't either.

I wouldn't suggest posting marital info on FB "we're so happy" "I am all he needs" etc. Especially the latter because that is pretty transparent. The people I know who do that are the people who have the most issues....and end up listing single as their status shortly after. Plus, truly happy adults in a marriage are out being happy, not posting that they are happy on FB- leave that to the kids. If you enjoyed FB then by all means re-open it. Just change your privacy settings to whatever is most comfortable for you. If you post that you are happy, then let it be bc you are truly happy, not because you want to send subliminal msgs to the OW. That is just too much wasted energy that could be used to actually work on your marriage, if that is what you are choosing to do. Good luck.

I have heard you can see who is viewing your profile, some application but i don't want to do it on mine.

I confess i found the mistress via facebook as i knew her full name and i found her, AND i saw my now ex was on her friends list with his nickname, on hers and not mine!! fake account set up so she could post pics to him apparentely.

Well her photo was quite ordinary but i had that feeling she would view MY profile too, my settings are very private so all you'd see are a photo i think. I made sure i got a good photo of me (just been to hair salon, great hair, bit of makeup) and put that as my pic, well my real friends all commented on my photo and i thought "damn you mistress you can at least see the BEST of me".

bugger her hun, don't delete your account and lose YOUR communication with friends, like you say, she's some silly vampire chick who has NOTHING on you and obviously she is curious about you, the woman he is with. Shut her down by having great comments and a profile you are proud of...

Hardest part for FB for me was changing my status to single (i didn't post that to news feeds) and deleting all the photos of my ex and i, that was really hard, but i had to do it......i have photos of us but i couldn't have them there.....
