Big set back in recovery tonight. 5 months post D-day. He has done everything right to help me and us recover. No contacts, no porn. But now I found out he has still been watching sexy YouTube videos. Like what the hell. He didn't think it was an issue as "it's not porn". He again is truly remorsefull of causing me pain again.
im just back to zero. What am I supposed to think of this. I do believe he hasn't done anything else wrong since D-day. But this is just so wrong. I feel like the stupid partner who again had no clue.
Anyone who is reconciling. Did ur CS ever had a "small" relapse issue like that since D-day? Or is mine just hopeless
It can also be a outlet for sexual frustration relating to a spouse....or both to some degree..
In the case of those who end up cheating it is definitely a big factor in the first case which leads them down the slippery slope.
A person who uses drugs will have a higher chance of doing other destructive things to feed their addiction or going deeper to more dangerous drugs/behavior.
In the case of some cheating spouses the slippery slope lead to bigger lies and adultery.
They need to work on their internal issues and develop new ways to deal with their problems in a healthy manner and stay away from their drug of choice.
