in my situation, he was seeing 2 people, me and another girl, keeping it from both of us, living a lie. also, he'd get on questionable websites, and in my read on the situation, he would "feel" insecure or scared, like if I had to travel for work, and then he would resort to this kind of behavior, likely to feel better about himself.
The psychology of a person who does this kind of behavior is complicated at best, but from what I am gathering in my situation it runs very deep and probably attached to some abandonment issues from early childhood.

You can be called a "survivor" - yea like other disease why can't we have a color band or t - shirt or awarness walk - like this should have cause we are all survivors of this crap.
