I am a fan of Sons of Anarchy, but the last two episodes seems to have really bothered me. I know that Jax Teller and his wife and everyone are fictional characters but I couldn't help but notice something Jax did in the season premiere. Jax went and slept with another woman, a hooker or whore or what ever she is , because he is having problems at home, for instance his wife is in jail for being set up or what ever, she's bucking the system because she is not happy,wants to leave, so instead of dealing with the problems at hand, he hops in bed with with this slag, who asks him about his problems "WIfe or kids?" They romanticize it , make Jax look like a wounded and conflicted man and she is there to make it all better, showing them in bed, music playing, staring into each others eyes, that bothered me.
Meanwhile they show Tara his wife,in jail, the show sort of depicts her as the antagonist in Jaxs life, of course the wife is always depicted as evil.She wants to leave how dare she, because she is not happy, he's cheated on her not once but at least twice , but that's forgotten, shes made out to be the evil bi*tch because she wants to leave and take the kid with her because she is tired of his crap, if only she would quit making Jaxs life miserable they could be happy, hr whole life has been turned upside down, her career is in the toilet, shes lied to protect him, done things for him that she would of never done otherwise because she loves him, they have history, and as soon she decides she's had enough, what does he do , hops into bed with the first woman who spreads her legs.. .so much for loyalty.
The second episode shows him cold and distant to her and refers to her as the "Wife" I have to head home and take care of the "Wife" then it shows them in bed , shes crying ,and hes not even looking at her, he's just doing his thing, hence where he was all romantic and staring into the whores eyes and soft music is playing, I don't know it just bothered me, i might be way off track ,
I know this show is fictional, but isn't that how it goes, instead of working out the problems or what is going on at home, the CS opts to just hop in bed with someone else, suddenly the wife is the enemy, the source of the husbands troubles, because she's had enough ,tired of being treated like a doormat lied to , cheated on.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? I agree with daledge! You can't make up the crazy stuff that happens and I work at a psych hospital.
I even got a little out of shape watching an old movie, Casablanca. I have seen it before and never thought much about it, however after my ex's affair and divorce, the movie is hard for me to watch now. Yes, I realize Bogart and Bergman play characters that are in an impossible situation. (not like the SOA example) but it still pushed my buttons.
It seems so obvious and easy to fix, then you wonder about the high statistic of marriages that have cheating. It's either not as easy as it seems, or people (CS)really don't take marriage seriously.
I am writing a screenplay from some of the material of my life and career. Reality is better than fiction. Ask any writer, and he/she will usually say the best material comes from life.
That could be part of the therapy. Write your story. I'd use the third person so you can treat yourself as another person and try to objectify the situation.
