Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
It is always extremely upsetting when people do this to us.
But, it was HIS choice to be dishonest...no reflection on you. You can wish him and her bad karma, which may happen.
Now is the time for healing again. Please take the time to work on yourself.
THAT WAS HIS LOSS AND YOU DESERVE MORE.
The only saving grace is that it stopped before it went further...like buying a house etc.
This initial anger is a cover for all the other emotions that are going on. Found that out in counseling. It's easy to say 'I am so pissed' but when you have to take a deep breath and say, 'hell, I am so hurt.' 'I am so betrayed.' And have a good cry when you are doing it...that is when you get to some good, honest stuff inside of you.
You would think you would have seen something...we all felt that way. Sometimes this all comes out of left field. Don't kick yourself too hard here. If he worked hard to hide it all from you, there is no way you should have known,or could have known.
Sending support your way, L~
Blindsided says it right: You deserve more (and better).
