Usually, it's just an opportunity that was taken and it had nothing to do with shopping for someone better/stronger/taller/braver/smarter/more beautiful/more endowed/nicer/richer...
Hoodmin - it's not about YOU and what you were lacking. It's about the person who betrayed you and the needs that were being fulfilled. She found someone who was willing and went for it. It was a choice she made to fill something her needs/desires/whatever that she CHOSE to meet through someone else rather than asking from you.
That was her failing, not yours.
