I was thinking last night that my STBX was extremely depressed right before she entered crazytown/AP town/happiness through sin location.
Together - We werent able to take a family vacation last year and this coming year the budget would be extremely tight. She was looking at having to go back to work "fulltime" for the first time ever being married after 10 years - to help out with bills and she just wasnt that happy with herself or life in general.
Sure she had a lot to be greatful for. A supportive H 2 healthy boys food a home I still having a very good job but in her head things werent perfect enough she felt neglected and entitled wanted even more attention.
I guess some people check into crazytown because they think theres the cure that crazy messed up situation over there with that crazy person. Lets take that for a spin and screw up everyone elses life while we are at it. That will make me feel better.

BTW, my Ex over and over again stated nothing wrong perfect marraige. Why she just wanted to have fun imagine this fun to destroy the one you love.

Infidelity has everything to do with the CS and the OP. it is THEIR insecurities, THEIR issues with themselves NOT the betrayed spouse.
It is easy to blame, it is easy to justify, but the truth wil emerge and when it does Crazytown turns to Hell.
Wishing and praying for all to heal and thrive during these most trying times. They test the soul, but you will be the better for it...just focus on YOU not them.
On the money unfornunately too many concentrate on the relationship throwing themselves away in the process to feel good.
They have it all, money, fame, health, looks, everything! Yet, they are miserable. They seek the dopamine thrills form some or the other illegal or immoral activity (Gen Petraeus affair).
The way to end this nonsense is to take away what they have and then have them earn it back. Same crap happens in affairs once fog has cleared. They want to earn back happiness that they had before and took for granted.
Create this scenario artificially, built a solid routine around it and voila, we may have the Vaccine to Infidelity or anything that may cause straying due to perceived "unhappiness" or "depression".
Or maybe Prozac is the catalyst to Uber Happiness...! Dunno...
