Our counselor recomended that we do a date night once a week. This week it was my turn to plan something. We used to go to the gym together, and i really liked it when she at least tried to keep physically fit. She stopped going when she started having her A with her ex. So i figured that i would suggest we go to the gym and work out. My idea was that would give us the excuse to have a shower together when we got home and let things go from there. I have had a lot of problems trying to be intimate with her since Dday. So i thought maybe this would be something to try. Yes i know the gym is not a "date" but it was the reason to have all the intimate stuff later. (i feel really silly typing this). Well she was offended about my idea, saying that OM (her ex) was totally ok with her the way she was, and she never had to go to the gym, and well you can imagine the fight we had. I finally completely told her how i felt about me not being good enough for her to have to go back to him, and like every other time before when i have tried, it was some how my fault. (i know i do hold some fault, but not all). In frusteration i shoved papers and her book off the counter toward her. (yes i was upset and angry, but no it was not done in violence i am not a violent person) But what i did scared her something awful, she packed a bag and left. I tried to apologize as she packed a bag, but she told me to leave her alone and never talk to her again.
This all over me trying to tell her how i feel. Makes me wonder should i just have keept it bottled up inside and just never let her know how i feel?
