If he really loved me he would make it work right?? He would stop making excuses for the things he has done and is doing and do whatever it takes to be with me if he really loved me right?? Thats how it should be to me. But instead he has excuses for everything.

I think you're right, Meg. I am married to a man who has been unfaithful a number of times and who has at times blamed me for that infidelity. He also doesn't keep commitments he makes to me and seems just not that "into" the marriage. I don't get it. What you value, you invest time and energy in--whatever it takes.

He needs to know that there is NO EXCUSE for cheating.
He made a choice to do it. Now he needs to make a choice and pull up the big boy panties and take the responsibility.

Maybe he is so ashamed of what he has done that by making excuses it helps him feel better. I know there is no excuse for hurting someone and lying to them,but some people deal with their damage control in different ways. Talk to him. Now if he's making excuses for the OW then I would think he still has feelings for her and there will be a problem.

Your boyfriend was/is a serial cheater. Even if they love you they can't make it work unless they get SERIOUS help to figure out why they are serial cheaters.

Just last night my exfiance phoned crying about how I'm the love of his life. Umm, when asked he told me that he is still seeing two of the OW. Nope, no matter how much he loves me he can never do it.

meg you are also making excuses for his behavior. So many of us on here have told you to leave this guy. What more do you want? Do you want to wake up one day and find him with some else? Or perhaps have him give you some disease he got from some scank he's screwing with? MOVE ON. He's treating you this way because you allow it. Stand up for yourself, take control.
